Mauricio Morais was born in Chaves, Portugal. He came to the United States in 1966 with his parents and 12 siblings. They settled in Massachusetts where he still lives today.
At the tender of age of 15 he formed a band, where they performed through out local clubes in the New England area.
Today after numerous successful albums, Mauricio Morais has had the honor of performing in many Portuguese communities through out America, Canada, Bermuda, Venezuela, France and Portugal, in hopes of bringing joy to his fans through out the world.
